Dear AnglerThe long awaited salmon season has finally commenced on several rivers in Scotland, with the opening of the River Tay getting great publicity in the press and on the television. The Tay has got off to a steady start with some good spring salmon landed up to 22lb. There have been far fewer baggots and rawners this year and a good number of kelts which has meant a good spawning season, says the FishTay Reporter.
