Highlights:
Best Fish of the Season!Dan O'Keeffe from Cork caught the biggest so far this year which was 14lb. exactly.
The total catch for June so far is 20 fish for less than 60 rod days which is an excellent average.I also heard reports from the upper river of over a dozen fresh salmon (10-12lb.) caught in theLombardstown/Millstreet area in the last couple of days, so they are still running hard.
Prospects:
Looking very good for the coming week as fish are moving in in good numbers& the forecast is dry for the next week or so.
Availability: There is no problem for fishing & accommodation availability in the coming weeks at the moment.
Now is also the time to think about booking your fishing break for the prime times in the coming season before it's too late.
