Spring Fishing prospects Hot Up!
A combination of conditions look set to provide some great sport in the coming weeks.

Springer Number Four is Caught.
On March 20th., there were only a couple of rods out on the river. Michael McCormack from Wexford caught a sea-liced 8¾lb. fish  on the Island Stream on Lower Kilmurry

Another Big Flood to help bring fish in. Following 60mm rain in 1½ days, the river peaked @ 2.70m on the Ballyduff gauge during the evening of March 22nd. Water temperature is 7½°C

The forecast is now dry and coldright through until the end of next week.

The flood peaks at 2.70m on March 22 @ 5.00pm.   Down to 1.10m at 10.30am today - March 24. Clarity improving rapidly - now 1½-2 feet.

Big Tides next week.
Tide heights will peak at 3.9m at the end of next weekwhich should also encourage fish to run in especially as the flood will be fining off nicely at that stage.
